Every parent must think that their child is so brilliant. I don't mean to brag about Kendi so much, but there are so many little things she does that I would like to remember.
We sat down at Stake Conference with Kendi in the back on the hard chairs a few weeks ago. Kendi looked up at the chairs in front of us and pointed at the "Cedar Stake" lettering painted on the back and said, "A B C Ds!" We told her she was right. She is recognizing letters and words.
Whenever Kendi counts to ten she says, "1...2...3...4...6...7...8...9...10." She always skips 5. She's been saying it this way for weeks and it doesn't matter how many times I try to help her remember. There just is no 5.
