Today was a good day. Especially with the potty training efforts. I think that my excitement must have rubbed off on Kendi because she seemed to be having a good day too.
For lunch I was boiling some spaghetti noodles and Kendi wanted to watch. I picked her up and was explaining that the stove was hot and that the water was boiling. All Kendi said was, "Oh, cooking bubbles," very matter-of-factly.
Later, Kendi was being a very good mommy to her dolly like she usually is. I can't even explain how cute she is to this doll. Jared was working on the couch when Kendi came up to him asking if he would open the balmex tube she had somehow found. He then noticed that her baby was face down on the table with its hind end up in the air and Kendi said, "Baby's bum dirty," while nodding her head.
Kendi starts to get temper mental as the day goes on. Later, she was trying to wrap her baby in a blankie, but the blankie wasn't laying flat for her. So, Kendi started shaking the blankie furiously. Finally, she settled for just scooping everything into her arms. As she was trying to walk with the baby she realized that the blankie was dragging and she kept stepping on it. At this point Kendi had had enough. Jared could hear her frustration coming from the hallway. Then she flung the baby down the hallway followed by the blankie. Kendi then proceeded throw herself on the ground and kick and throw her arms.
On our way up to G and G Barnes' Kendi kept saying, "Boh-ger." She said it over and over the whole way there. At one time she even said, "Big Boh-ger." We weren't exactly sure what she was trying to tell us. When Jared went to get Kendi out of the car seat, he set his hand on her leg and realize exactly what she was trying to say. Kendi had figured out how to pick her nose and was wiping it on her pants. Lots of it.

Hahahah! I can't stop laughing at that day! WOW! Definitely eventful!
hahaha too funny!! I love it! And I am glad to know that Kendi gets mad at her toys as well. I thought Allie had anger management problems. She does the exact same thing with her dolls and blankets. I wish you guys lived closer. It would be so fun to see you every day. Also, I am glad to hear that potty training is going better. I was trying to avoid it forever. I knew I had to be the one ready. It REQUIRES so much patience. Although, I have decided that having a child that is "potty trained" is like having a infant that "sleeps through the night". What really constitutes it. The child may sleep through the night for one month and then get sick and not sleep well any more, or start teething and quite sleeping good and then back to sleeping good. Potty trained and sleeping through the night just depends on the moment it is asked. Like today Allie did really well never having an accident and she stayed dry last night but not true of yesterday. Anyway, I hope you understand what I am trying to say because it makes sense to me.
I love reading about your potty training adventures! I'm THIS CLOSE to taking notes. So far, I can't get little Garry to even sit on the potty, much less actually make anything in it.
